This journey through Chile’s electronic music landscape features artists and labels with roots in Chile, working in genres ranging from sleek techno to raw house, ambient electronica to uncanny experiments, spastic bass to syncopated breaks. Some of the artists are firmly planted in their homeland, some have long been expatriated, and a few split their seasons between continents, but each brings, consciously or not, a sonic palette and musical energy that could only emanate from this unique stretch of South American soil.
